Vote for Catalyst!

Please vote for Catalyst to help him gain a start in the 2020 All-Star Mile, to be run on the 14th March at Caulfied.

What is the all-star mile?

The All-Star Mile is a race like no other in Australia, with the fans choosing the horses that will compete – their ‘All Stars’. With a winner’s cheque for $2.25m and an overall prize purse of $5m, it is officially the richest mile race in the world. The All-Star Mile will be rotated around Melbourne’s three premier racetracks, Flemington, Caulfield and The Valley. The inaugural race at Flemington in March 2019 was won by Mystic Journey, the flying filly from Tasmania who cost just $11,000.

About Catalyst:

Catalyst is a 3YO gelding by Darci Brahma, owned and bred by Dick Karreman.

Like last year’s All-Star Mile winner Mystic Journey (trained by Adam Trinder), this excitement machine from New Zealand is trained by a former gun jumps jockey. Clayton Chipperfield rode with success in New Zealand, Australia and the US before embarking on a training career and in Catalyst he has found his pin-up horse. The son of former Australian Guineas runner-up Darci Brahma made it five wins in six starts when blazing away with the Group 1 NZ 2000 Guineas at Riccarton in November. Catalyst’s past three wins have been at odds of $1.40 as the boom surrounding him intensifies

What you could win:

By voting for Catalyst in the All-Star Mile, you will be in the running to win a share in $500,000 with the first prize being $250,000! (see www.allstarmile.com.au for further details).
