Unbeaten Orbisyn closer to returning

Hugely exciting 4YO gelding Orbisyn (Rich Enuff-Another Syn, by Mukaddamah) will trial next week in his first outing since he last raced in June 2021, according  to punters.com.au.

"We've been nice and patient with him," trainer David Vandyke said.

"Once we knew he wasn't going to be ready for the spring, there was no point rushing him back. So we gave him the summer off and now he's steadily building up so he'll be in great shape when he returns to racing."

Orbisyn had a minor hind leg issue that prevented him from racing.

"We'll look to give him an easy assignment first-up and see how he pulls up from that. We don't have any big goals or targets beyond his first-up run."

Orbisyn has won all of his four starts to date from 1100m to 1350m, with earnings of $71,600. He is a homebred for owner Jan McMillan who turned down a million dollar offer for him last year.

Orbisyn is a half-brother to stakes placed Magical Talent (Show a Heart), with their winning dam a half-sister to The Oaks Stud's NZ Horse of the Year and seven-time Group 1 winner Seachange (Cape Cross).
